My name is Aidan Alexandria and Lula Franklin is the name of my maternal great-grandmother. I am a tired and broke New York college student from North Carolina. I identified as a Black/Brown, Afro-American woman influenced by enslaved culture, survivor culture, and pan-african culture. My pronouns are she/her.
My womanism is shaped by my place, position, and knowing that my experience is not universal. I am currently researching the sources of institutional terror in higher education for Black Women in post-secondary education( graduate students and pre-tenure professors).
I watch entirely too much television. I write to heal. And I try to tell the truth every day, since to tell the truth is a truly revolutionary act.
